Boy Scouts of America
Troop 440

Welcome to our home page.

Congratulations!

You have found our hidden game.

When you click the 'Start' button, the trefoils at the top of the page will begin to move. Click the 'Stop' button to try get them to stop when they are as close together as possible.

The game will calculate a score based on their horizontal and vertical distances. You get 5 tries. Lowest average score for the 5 tries wins! Good Luck.

Troop 440 was chartered in 1970, and is sponsored by American Legion Post 488. Our current Scout Master, Mr. Michael Phipps was himself a member of the troop as a boy. Mr. Phipps and the entire Troop Committee strive to continue the troop's long standing heritage as an active, outdoor oriented organization that loves to hike, camp and just generally have  fun  while fulfilling our objective of providing a wholesome, safe environment in which the Scouts can develop their individual strengths, and learn the skills they will need to become the leaders of tomorrow.

Troop 440's activities are planned to support both our heritage and objectives. Our yearly schedule of events includes a winter lean-to camping trip to Trout Pond at Ten Mile River Scout Camp, Skiing, White Water Rafting, Backpacking, Great Lakes Fishing, Summer Camp at Camp No-Be-Bos-Co and an entire host of other trips and activities. Troop 440 truly embraces the spirit of Scouting and has a loving respect for the great outdoors.
